Located at the heart of the Vino Nobile zone, Tenuta Valdipiatta is run by Miriam Caporali, who brought in top Bordeaux oenologist Eric Boissenot in 2010. Eric also consults for Chteaux Lafite, Latour, Margaux and Palmer. The Vino Nobile is elegant and supple with refreshing acidity and great structure. It offers notes of black cherry, violets and roses, dark and sweet spices, tobacco and black pepper. Solid, deep, and full bodied, with velvety tannins, the finish is long, balanced and rich.
