Vesztergombi Szt Laszlo Szekszardi Bikaversmells of dried fruit, cloves and coffee. Every sip is harmonious on the palate with its tight acidity, prune flavours and woody notes. Closes in a nice long finish.

Fun Fact:Named after Saint Lszl the patron saint of Szekszrd.The Knight King is also called God’s athlete because of his outstanding physical attributes. He is rememberedas a moral, strict but fair ruler both on the battlefield and in politics.

Blend ofKkfrankos, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Kadarka. The fruit comes fromVesztergombi’s 30 hectares of vineyards in the Szekszrd wine region of Hungary. Most of the vines were replanted and are relatively young, but there are some really old plantations as well.

Ageing in 300L and 500L oak barrels for 24 months and a further 6 months in bottles.
