The Pignoletto grape originates from Emilia Romagna region in Italy, taking its name from Pigna, the Italian for pinecone, on account of its small, tight berry clusters.

Grape Varietals & Region:100% Pignoletto from Geogrpahe. Australia. Grown at the Harvey Hills at the Wildwater vineyard.

Taste Profile: Nashi pear, with a zest of lemon and a saline edge. A crisp and refreshing sparkling.

Winemaking Process: Handpicked, minimal destemming to avoid berry crush prior to gentle basket pressing. Fermented in stainless steel and left on lees for several months prior to commencing secondary ferment in bottle. Left on lees in bottle for 14 months prior to disgorging
