Volandera is a red wine produced in Murchante by La Calandria Pura Garnacha, within D.O. Navarra. La Calandria Pura Garnacha is a project created by Luis Remacha and Javier Continente, who started their journey in 2008. They bought an old vineyard in Cintrunigo and, little by little, they have acquired more Grenache vineyards in the surroundings to make fresh wines from this variety in the south area of Navarre and also in the area of Tierga, in Aragn. Volandera comes from a vineyard located in Cintrunigo, planted more than 60 years ago on clay soils. Fermentation is carried out in stainless steel deposits with indigenous yeasts.

On the nose it offers rich red fruit aromas and spice like anise. On the palate its an evenly dry red with slightly more earth than can be found on the nose.
