From one of the makers of Arachon T.FX.T, Weinhof Szemes produces one of the top Blaufrnkisch in Austria.

In 1984 Tibor took over the family business. Tibor Szemes, a charismatic personality with vision and contacts all over the world, recognized the excellent terroir and grape quality of Central Burgenland as early as the early 1980s. With Ing. Josef Pusch, the then cellar master of the Horitschon cooperative, Tibor Szemes initiated the step to become a ngociant.

Tibors son, Oscar took the place of his parents, who both died far too young. Together with his sister Anna, he is now continuing the traditional business, while evolving it to focus on estate vineyards, as well as modernizing the wine portfolio that they represent

Grape Varietals & Region:100% Gelber Muskateller from the Mittleburgenland region, grown on a mixture of slate & gneiss soils in a Pannatonian climate

Taste Profile:The wine has a fruity, youthful nose, with floral notes of white blossom & elderflower. On the palate, it is lively with hints of tropical fruits
