Wolfcraig 35 Year Old is a rare whisky composed entirely of aged grain whiskies (not malt), all matured over 35 years in ex-bourbon American white oak. With input by master blenders Richard Paterson and Ian MacMillan, this is a sophisticated release from silent distilleries (distilleries no longer in operation), offering a rich, elegant, dessert-like character with deep wood influence. At ~46.8% ABV, it balances strength and smooth ageing, delivering pear, banana bread, citrus, and toffee with a long, indulgent finish.

Sense Notes Colour / Appearance Satin wood honeyed gold with a lustre reminiscent of autumn leaves. Nose / Aroma Warm and inviting: peach syrup, caramelised apple, moist lemon sponge cake, freshly starched linen. Also succulently fruity: pear, banana bread, and grapefruit. Palate / Taste Complex and layered: marzipan, toffee apple, citrus fruits, frangipane. Then notes shift toward grape pulp, lime marmalade, ginger cake drenched in custard, and whispers of Swiss white chocolate. Finish Languorous and seductive. Long-lasting, with dessert-style flavours lingering, a sweet edge, tempered by the oak and age.
